SMC have completed the letting of 37/39 Chapel Walk to City of Sanctuary Sheffield.
The city centre former retail premises will be the new home for the charity, which welcomes and provides support for newly arrived asylum seekers and refugees.
The property provides a substantial amount of space in a high footfall area of Sheffield. The available accommodation comprised of basement, ground and first floor areas. The property had been previously occupied by a fashion retailer.
The Sanctuary will be open between 10am and 4pm Monday to Thursday, and will be available for meetings and events by enquiry. Sanctuary staff encourage locals to come and meet new arrivals, and assist with English conversation and provide support.
